What is the difference between the Cool Fat Burner & Cool Gut Buster?
The Cool Fat Burner is the top piece and covers the brown fat zones and makes contact with a number of major vessels. The Cool Gut Buster covers the stomach and love handles, (and in sizes Med and above) can hold extra packs, and makes inducing cold thermogenesis easier. One should wear both simultaneously for maximum effect.
One of the tricks to going into high intensity is guzzling down ice water throughout your session. Many people can go all the way into all-out shivering just by wearing the CFB and drinking lots of cold water. But what if you want to do an evening session? If you drink that much water, you may have to get up to use the bathroom, disrupting sleep.
That’s why it’s helpful to simultaneously wear the Cool Gut Buster; it makes it a lot easier to get cooled down, induce cold thermogenesis and burn lots of calories w/o drinking so much ice water. And the CGB can also replicate the conditions necessary to “freeze away” stomach fat, though not officially endorsed or recommended for that use.
Remember — the primary goal is to induce cold thermogenesis, which is a system-wide calorie burn, the same as diet or exercise. We don’t formally endorse our packs for inducing spot-reduction, though they are ironically the only cold packs on the market that have been shown able to reproduce the conditions necessary for that effect.
